HP has announced ten new notebooks

Last week’s laptop rain also saw no fewer than 10 Hewlett-Packard machines come to light, 8 Probooks and 2 EliteBooks.

Of course, each machine relies on the Intel Sandy Bridge platform. Of the ProBooks, the B and S series have been expanded. The names are still telling:

  • 12,1 ″: 4230s
  • 13,3 ″: 4330s & 6360b
  • 14 ″: 4430s & 6460b
  • 15,6 ″: 4530s & 6560b
  • 17,3: 4730s

Of course, second-generation Core (or Celeron) processors will be housed in a beautiful and last but not least rugged housing. The B-Series models are magnesium-reinforced while members of the S family are given an aluminum finish. You can request up to 16 GB of memory - except for the 13,3-inch version (8GB) - and choose from all the usual variations: DVD / Blu-ray, SSD / HDD, integrated / discrete GPU. The Express Card / 34 slot, card reader, webcam and 6-9 cell battery are also available.

S-ProBooks start at $ 579, while B-ones start at $ 799. The machines will debut in the United States on March 15th.

The two EliteBooks come in 14-inch (8460p) and 15,6-inch (8560p) display sizes. The metallic notebook got a matte LED-backlit display for a good business machine. They will be equipped with a Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU, up to 16 GB of RAM, a 750 GB HDD or a 128/160 GB SSD. You can choose between a DVD burner or Blu-ray drive and integrated graphics or a Radeon HD 6470M 1 GB. Also not to be missed is the Express Card / 54 slot, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi and 3G. The battery can last up to 32 hours, of course you don't have to choose the 3 or 6 cell solution, but the 9 cell.
