ITunes is Apple Computer's media player for playing digital music and video files, unveiled on January 2001, 10 at the MacWorld Expo. ITunes works with iPods and is compatible with Apple's iStore. The software is included with the iLife suite for Macintosh, but is also available for Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Coinciding with Wednesday’s press event, Apple released the latest update to iTunes. The Home Sharing feature has been changed in iTunes 10.2. With this, iOS 4.3 users can stream any music or movie from their registered iTunes library to iPhone and iPad. The counter in the Sharing panel also handles the media we use through Home Sharing.
