Sensational images leaked from Xiaomi’s new phone, the Note 5
Finally a frameless Xiaomi phone in the middle class!
It has long been a practice at Xiaomin to put an A letter at the end of the type on its weakest phones. These devices are usually marketed after the letter A, so stronger solutions are about taking advantage of their big brother’s market position and name. However, Xiaomi took a strange step in the case of the Note 5, and the stronger version gave the weaker version space for the big warmer, so we got to know the Note 5A. Needless to say, we waited even more excited after that, waiting for the Xiaomi Note 5.
After a lot of rendered images and fake information, we now got photos that are either very good fakes or really have the new Note on them. If so, we can get a really sensational phone for not so long.
As you can see in the photos, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a metal body. In the photo from the back, we can see that there are two cameras on the back and below them we find the fingerprint reader. This also means that the traditional Home Button + fingerprint reader solution on the front panel simply did not fit. and that means we get a wonderful looking, frameless phone. It can be seen that in the top bar, no matter how thin the speech speaker, a sensor and a camera were also installed. This is a strange layout, at least compared to most frameless phones. Manufacturers usually try to make the top frame as thin as possible, in return the bottom bar will always be a little wider. In the case of Note 5, of course, if we believe the photo, the bottom and top bars are the same width, or rather, they are equally thin!
It is currently believed that this model will receive the Snapdragon 660 SoC, but it is not ruled out, and other sources are even trying to prove it, the MediaTek P25 or P30 SoC will be rampant. Expected prices will be as follows depending on deployment: 3 + 32 GB 999 yuan ($ 150), 4 + 32 GB 1299 yuan ($ 196) and 4 + 64 GB 1599 yuan ($ 241).
