In North America, too, the Xbox 360 triumphed
Of course, this statement only holds true when comparing Microsoft's gaming machine to the PS3 alone.
According to statistics from market research firm NPD Group, the following sales figures for the North American console market were released in September:
- Nintendo Wii: 687 pcs
- Nintendo DS: 537 pcs
- Xbox 360: 347 pcs
- Sony PSP: 238 pcs
- PlayStation 3: 232 pcs
- PlayStation 2: 173 pcs
This means that the Xbox 360 has ugly left the PlayStation 3 not only in Japan but overseas as well. The overwhelming victory - the rising country similar to what happened - mainly due to the fact that in the US from 5 September all Xbox 360 packages are available at a lower price - Elite: $ 399 and Pro: $ 299 (-50 USD), Arcade $ 199 (-100 USD).
