Steam: over 30 million

Valve has released its latest statistics.

The popularity of Steam is growing day by day, as evidenced by the fact that today the number of users has exceeded 30 million globally. This represents an increase of 178% compared to last year. Game sales have increased by 200%, which is no coincidence, as 1.200 games can now be downloaded or purchased in the system. Every day, 6 million users log in to their account. To keep up with this growth rate, Valve has made a major upgrade to its infrastructure, which has increased server speeds to 400 Gbps.
