Spice XT is Motorola's latest entry-level device running Gingerbread OS

Spice XT is Motorola's latest entry-level device running Gingerbread OSMotorola recently announced a very cost-effective device running Gingerbread OS, the Spice XT.

Behind the phone’s 3,5-inch touchscreen is an 800 MHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, a GPS chip and an FM radio. Of course, the device also supports b / g / n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connections. The developers of the American company have, of course, also created a unique interface called the Moto Switch UI, which includes some new features in addition to the factory features of the Android OS. Of course, the device also lacks a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, but we also have a VGA-resolution front-facing sensor, so we can even have a video conversation with the phone.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the 1540 mAh battery promises 8 hours of talk time and 28 days of standby time. The Spice XT (also known as Fire XT, XT531) will be available for the first time in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, but we hope to arrive in Europe as soon as possible. We do not yet have more information about the exact price and release date.
