Sharp notebook with Sempron processor

Thanks to Intel’s success processor and policy, it’s getting harder to find a laptop that doesn’t have a Core 2 Duo processor.

Sharp's latest notebook is an exception to this: the PC-CW50T's CPU is named after AMD, and is exactly a 3400+ single-core Sempron processor that actually runs at 1,6 GHz. Of course, it is advisable to associate an ATI graphics controller with AMD, so in this case a Radeon Xpress 1100 is responsible for graphics display.

Also worth mentioning are the 80 gigabyte SATA hard drive, the optical drive that also writes dual-layer DVDs, and the 14,1-inch diagonal and WXGA resolution display. All this can be taken home for an amount of around 900 euros, ie about 222 thousand forints.
