The MSI MEGA VIEW 588 arrives

In parallel with portable music players, multimedia devices with a slightly larger physical size, but in return offering many more services, are also becoming more widespread. MSI’s latest product meets all the expectations of the age, and according to data from the manufacturer, we will be able to get it at a price 50 percent lower than competing solutions with similar capabilities. 

 

 

As you can see in the image below, the device is a 3,5-inch TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 320 × 240, which covers almost the entire housing. It communicates with our computer via a USB connection, so it can be easily connected to any compatible device. 

 

Thanks to the Mega View 588's 20 GB built-in hard drive, it can store a lot of video and audio material, and it is also equipped with an SD / MMC slot for the widest possible use. With its direct line input, we also record audio, of course immediately into MP3. If you want to connect it to a TV or a better quality amplifier, there is no obstacle either: its AV output also allows you to enjoy your images in higher resolution and larger size.

 

 

When it comes to video playback, it also handles MPEG4, DivX 3.x, 4 and 5, Windows Media Video V9 and Motion JPEG files, and can preview images in JPEG or BMP format. You can enjoy your media files in much higher resolution through the already mentioned AV output, and its built-in MPEG4 video encoder, which can be used via the AV input, is also excellent for recording an external signal. 

 

The service is also complete in music: MP3, WMA V9 and WAV, line input for direct recording, and if you just want to show your friends our latest video or music, built-in speakers also help.
