Details of Atoms for portable machines

Intel has today left some information about Atom processors using the 32nm manufacturing mode, this time the Cedarview-M in detail.

Of course, it handles DDR3 memory, up to 800 MHz according to the factory data, and IGP has also evolved, here an GPU called Intel 3600 runs at 400MHz. It consumes up to 3,5 watts and is priced the same as its desktop counterpart, for around $ 42. So overall, it has improved a lot, especially in terms of power consumption, as half of its predecessor had a 6,5 W TDP with so many cores.

The more expensive variation is a 1,86 GHz clock ticking dual-core Hyper-Threading processor, which also comes with 512 kB of L2 cache twice. This time, it already supports DDR1066 modules up to 3 MHz and includes a more powerful graphics core that bears the name 3650 and already runs at 640 MHz. Here, the power consumption is the same as its predecessor, which also enriches the 6,5W TDP category, but the N475 contained only 1 core, which also ran at only 1,83 GHz. It’s not much more dangerous in price than the smaller chip, so Intel is asking $ 47.

It should be noted that the prices are for orders of 1000 pieces, so you should expect a slightly higher invoice for a smaller item.
