The first additional album of the Chernobyl FPS comes with a lot of innovations

The makers of STALKER also know very well that the hen laying the golden egg should not be lost.

Named Clear Sky, the add-on album covers the events before the base game, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, set in 2011.

The most important innovations of the add-on, which landed on store shelves in the first quarter of 2008, are the following:

• Renewable, more beautiful graphics in every detail (also under DX9)
• DirectX 10 support
• improved game engine: X-Ray 1.5
• redesigned HUD and PDA
• upgradeable weapons and armor
• weapons and armor: new upgrade system
• possibility of fast travel
• advanced artificial intelligence, including NPCs
• a whole new storyline
• a new environment with a different atmosphere from the base game
• the possibility of leading military groups
