The first additional album of the Chernobyl FPS comes with a lot of innovations
The makers of STALKER also know very well that the hen laying the golden egg should not be lost.
Named Clear Sky, the add-on album covers the events before the base game, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, set in 2011.
The most important innovations of the add-on, which landed on store shelves in the first quarter of 2008, are the following:
- Renewable, more beautiful graphics in every detail (also under DX9)
- DirectX 10 support
- improved game engine: X-Ray 1.5
- redesigned HUD and PDA
- upgradeable weapons and armor
- weapons and armor: new upgrade system
- possibility of fast travel
- advanced artificial intelligence, including NPCs
- a whole new storyline
- a new environment with a different atmosphere from the base game
- the possibility of leading military groups
