An interesting converter from Sparkle

The manufacturer, known for its video controllers, has come up with a small but even more useful accessory.

Sparkle has announced its latest product, X-Link, which allows us to get one more monitor at work than our video card might support. The small box contains the DisplayLink DL-160 chip, which converts the data set output from the USB port to a video signal using a DVI connector.

I'm glad the resolution is maximized to 1600 × 1200 in this way - which means 1680 × 1050 in widescreen mode. Supporting all the operating systems of our time (Windows 2000 / XP / Vista and Mac OSX), X-Link will be on store shelves in a few weeks.
