Radeon HD 3870 X2 with individual cooling

Long before the official premiere at the end of January, we can get acquainted with the first special Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics controller.

Equipped with 1024 MB of GDDR4 Hynix memory and two RV670 graphics processors, the reference cooling of the Radeon HD 3870 X2 was first removed by Unika, almost completely unknown in Europe: instead of its own branded dual-fan cooling system that mimics Zalman's solutions. Unfortunately, no further technical information is available about the special R680.
