The new development of Noctua has taken off

After 18 months of design and testing, the 92mm NF-B9 fan was completed.

The 80- and 120-mm air agitators include the latest work of the Austrian company, the development of which was based on the well-known Noctuás technologies. As a starting point, of course, SSO bearings were taken, which are so-called due to its self-regulating nature, it guarantees long-term operation in addition to quietness. For quietness, the blades have been adjusted to a special angle, and the unpleasant noises caused by the vortices are dampened by small small notches cut into the ends of the propellers.

Thus, at a maximum speed of 1600 rpm, only 17,6 dB of noise was achieved, which can be squeezed below 10 dB at lower speeds. Despite these low values, air transport is significant, at a maximum speed of 64,3 m3 / h, while at 1000 rpm 41,1 m3 / h.

Noctua, like its other products, offers a 6-year warranty on the NF-9B, which is expected to start at around € 18.
