Details on Intel’s Skulltrail fantasy platform

At the Intel Developer Forum in China, some small details of the platform called Skulltrail were revealed.

Presented at CES in January V8 successor, and practically AMD Quad FX Skulltrail can be considered a competitor of the system, which is expected to be introduced to the general public at the end of this year.

It is planned that two, each quad-core Intel processor and up to four PCI Express-connected video cards could form the basis of the platform. Unfortunately, Intel hasn't revealed anything about this yet, so we don't even know if it's a LGA775 or LGA771-encapsulated desktop or server processor, and the identity of the chipset used is unknown.
