Professional Sony OLED monitors at a gold price

The members of the Trimaster EL series are far from being prepared for home use yet, the coveted technology has an astronomical price.

Sony's OLED (organic light-emitting diode) monitors are available in 17-inch and 24-inch sizes, with FullHD resolution, 100 cd/m2 brightness and 178-degree viewing angle. The monitors have HDMI, DisplayPort and SDI inputs. The latter has spread in professional studios, so I won't reveal a big secret that these displays are still made for them. Everyone dreams of this technology because of its excellent viewing angle, color fidelity and razor-sharp image. In addition to these, black and fast movements, which are a big problem in TFTs, are also of flawless quality. No wonder, since it works on a completely different principle than its predecessors. The display is not illuminated by some "external" light source, but thin, organic materials are placed between the diodes, which light up when charged.
