Pro Libertate! Patch 1.7

A fix for version 1.7 of the state-sponsored free game has been released.

A Pro Libertate! a historical strategy divided into circles, which gives some insight into the battles of the Rákóczi War of Independence and the American War of Independence.

Those who may not yet be familiar with this game can read its main features below:

  • There are two battlefields: the east coast of North America and the Carpathian Basin
  • 2 huge hexagonal playgrounds with over 3000 areas
  • Battles that can be played in a turn-based form on the same user interface
  • Management of six resources: recruits, horses, weapons, cannons, money and supplies
  • Influence system-driven policy decisions
  • 400 historical figures, in three ranks
  • 16 special abilities
  • There are 16 types of units, including: infantry, hussar, hajdú, Native American and dragoon
  • Units and maps rendered in 3D
  • 8 campaigns, four on each battlefield
  • 3 types of multiplayer options: on one machine, network game (also on the Internet) or email game
  • 3 levels of difficulty
  • 7 types of lineup on the strategic map: defense, attack, rest, siege, retreat, escape and training
  • 4 types of formations on the battlefield: port, column, line and escape
  • Advanced, normal or simplified rule system
  • The game also realistically depicts battles and military operations, units do not fight to the last man, battles are won by the one who runs the enemy
  • Lots of random events, including: piracy, epidemics, betrayal, fire damage, and more
  • Deprivable cities
  • Detailed sieges: rampage around the castle or besiegers, dig siege marks

Changes from the previous version (1.50):

To install the patch: The package can be used with any version of the game. The downloaded file must be extracted to the folder where the game itself was installed. The editor can be started with a separate .exe file.
