We’re gossiping about Xiaomi’s new giant phone

It has long been a topic that phones will catch up with the size of tablets, at Xiaomi this may happen next year!

In 2016, a giant phone was 5,5 inches, in 2017 it was already 6,4 inches, and next year we can reach 7 inches too! This seems scary at first, but on closer inspection, there’s a rationale in it.

Today’s phones are very different from the first 5,5-inch handsets. The side frames have essentially disappeared, with the aspect ratio of the displays changing from 16: 9 to 18: 9. As a result, these phones have not been wider with the larger screen size than usual, and even as the lower and upper frames are thinner, their length has not increased as much as we would expect. In addition, due to the development of production technology and the larger capacity but smaller size of the batteries, the thickness - thinness - of the phones is starting to be quite amazing, which makes them harder to handle and use despite the larger size.

In 2017, Xiaomi released its Mi MAX 2 mobile phone. Based on the current rumors, we can not only assume that the successor is coming, but also report on the capabilities. So the first and most important thing is that Xiaomi stays true to the name of the phone, so the MAX continues to grow, reaching a 7-inch screen. An important point of interest is that the manufacturer is likely to follow the practice introduced for its recent phones, that is, to release two versions at the same time. In the case of the Redmi 5, the Plus version differs mostly from the standard version in terms of size, but we can guess that this is out of the question for the MAX 3, so if the news is true, the "smaller" phone is the Snapdragon 630, while the " bigger' will get the Snapdragon 660 SoC. Due to the large screen, the phone requires more energy than an average device. For this reason, and of course also because it fits in the house, a 5500 mAh battery is installed, which we also get Quick Charge 3.0, so that you don't have to charge the mobile phone for hours.

Thus, by the end of the news, there are only two additives. One is that although the images in the news show MAX 3, they are suspected to be non-original images. The other is that the phone will only be unveiled next summer, so the info above won’t be confirmed for quite some time, so we’ll handle them in place.
