The PCIe x1 slot fits Auzentech's latest sound card

Auzentech has unveiled a space-saving sound card.

The X-Fi Forte 7.1 sound processor is, by definition, a Creative product, namely the 20K2 PCI Express. It also follows that this time we are dealing with a sound card that can be inserted into a PCIe x1 slot, the printed circuit board of which contains 64 megabytes of X-RAM for storing sound samples. Thanks to the Creative sound processor, we get full support for the EAX 5.0 surround standard as well as Direct Sound, Direct Sound 3D and OpenAL, as well as WDM and ASIO 2.0 technologies.

Due to the low profile of the product, the connection points were handled narrowly by Auzentech specialists: an analog and a digital as well as a headphone output are available to the user.
