PowerColor makes a passively cooled Radeon HD 5750

The thirst for those who want absolute disgust will be quenched by the new card.

PowerColor is designed to be no less a throw than to introduce the world’s first DirectX 11 compatible passive video card, the SCS3 HD 5750. The clock signals of the product, which includes the Juniper core, follow the factory recommendations, so the GPU is ticking at 700 MHz, while the 1GB GDDR5 memory is ticking at 4600 MHz. PowerColor places an aluminum rib on this system, occupying two card slots, interwoven with 32 heat pipes of 4 lamellae, which does its job in complete silence without a fan.

The airless Radeon employs 720 stream processors, has a 128-bit memory bus, CrossFireX connector, dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort, and also supports ATI Eyefinity multi-monitor technology.

The PowerColor SCS3 HD5750 is scheduled to go on sale on November 20 at a purchase price of $ 149 (HUF 28 at today's exchange rate).
