Passively cooled HD 5770 from Gigabyte

After 5750, the big brother now had a silent solution as well.

Gigabyte didn’t reveal much about its new product, but all it learned was that the huge cooling solution - otherwise known as Silent-Cell - is 36 percent more efficient than its predecessors, which is what it needs, as the full-featured Juniper GPU generates plenty of heat under load that needs to be dissipated. The cooler has succeeded so much that it goes far beyond the size of the PCB, as can be seen in the picture. Four heat pipes conduct heat from the graphics processor to the aluminum ribs. There is no information on the clock speed of the GPU and 1 GB of GDDR5 memory.

A GIGABYTE R577SL – 1GD nothing is known about its price yet, but the manufacturer has revealed that the market start is very close.
