The GeForce RTX family was announced the day before yesterday, and on this notable occasion we got a little Battlefield V taste.

Battlefield V also contains traces of Raytracing

The collaboration between the developers and NVIDIA has yielded very spectacular results, with the alpha version of Battlefield V working with beam tracking impressively demonstrating the potential of the technology. In the video below, it is worth paying attention to the reflections (e.g. the flamethrower tank or the flaming plane gliding in the sky) as Raytracing will be used for this purpose in its current form.

In any case, the question raises at least one delicate question: what about multiplayer mode? We consider it possible to turn off ray tracing there, as this could benefit players with a Geforce RTX series graphics card - they can (in exceptional cases) see parts of the playing field that other players don’t.
