NVIDIA PhysX support for PlayStation 4

The Santa Clara-based company has announced that the PhysX SDK is from APEX

will provide PlayStation 4 developers with a development kit.

The two systems provide realistic clothing animations, collisions, particle effects, and many other procedures to create a more realistic (perhaps simply more spectacular) virtual world. As Sony’s next-generation gaming console has received an AMD heart, it is highly questionable how the implementation can capitalize on the horsepower hidden in the GPU. Probably not, but with calculations on the CPU, PhysX can work.
