NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 rumors

The Greens ’graphics card for the mainstream segment may arrive before school starts.

With the GeForce GTX 460 megabyte and 768 gigabyte variants, NVIDIA is further expanding its DirectX 1 video card offering - this time targeting the mid-range. The first card, based on the new graphics processor codenamed GF11, will be called GeForce GTS 106, and its price will presumably remain below $ 450 (~ 150 forints). 

By default, the new feature can handle 1 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit wide memory interface. Allegedly, NVIDIA is not creating a reference model, instead entrusting its partners with the design of PCBs and cooling solutions. No information has yet been received about the clocks, nor about the number of CUDA cores. The GTS 40, with 450nm manufacturing technology, is expected to launch in late August.
