NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT: a low-end rider
With the release of the 9400 GT, the GeForce 9 Series has gained weight in eight members: 9800 GX2, 9800 GTX +, 9800 GTX, 9800 GT, 9600 GT, 9600 GSO, 9500 GT and 9400 GT.
Late yesterday afternoon, NVIDIA pulled the veil off the 9 GT, the successor to the 8500 GT, which represents the bottom of the GeForce 9400 series. The graphics core, known as the G96, is associated with 512 MB of DDR2 memory on the reference cards, but some manufacturers already offer the 256 and 1024 MB models, and it is possible that there will be a version with GDDR3 memory chips in the future.
The DirectX 10.0, PhysX-capable GeForce 9400 GT has a suggested retail price of $ 59. For the 9400 GT a Version number 177.79 NVIDIA GeForce driver can be used.
