There will be no Microsoft Office for iPad

The software giant has no plans to make an iPad version of its famous office suite.

In an interview, Microsoft’s business president said their company didn’t want to create any program for the competitor’s new tablet. It wouldn’t be good for them if Apple’s product got too strong, though that can hardly be avoided based on the iPhone craze. The competition is not making its own office package either, so for the time being, the product is likely to be unsuitable for performing excel and powerpoint work, at least initially for sure.
