HTC has confirmed that Desire HD will not receive Ice Cream Sandwich.

Now, finally, the manufacturer has spoken out on the matter and, unfortunately, has announced bad news: Ice Cream Sandwich for Desire HD will not be officially ready. According to the announcement, the latest Android would negatively affect the performance of the device and with it the user experience, so it would not be a logical step to release it. In this sense, HTC Desire HD owners will be forced to choose the unofficial route if they want ICS on the device, thus risking any warranty.
