NEC Infrontia - The industrial palm machine
NEC seems to be adding another player to the palm machine market, which was renamed Infrontia.
Not only can the device withstand falling from a meter and a half, but it is also water and dust resistant. The device has also been equipped with a barcode reader, thus expanding its field of application, which is expected to range from industry to healthcare. Infrontia is expected to be available in four packages: with a barcode reader, with a QR code reader, with or without an RFID tag reader.
