Don’t be surprised to see 12-core AMD processors

A compute kernel is any processing unit that can run at least one process in its own context in its virtual memory area, independently of the other kernels. Based on the latter, the A10-7850K’s four x86 processor cores and eight GCN Compute Unit (CU) arrays correspond to 12 executive units.
