High performance heatsink from Coolink

The name Coolink may receive less recognition in Hungary than it deserves, even though good refrigerators are manufactured.

Their newly announced solution called Corator DS does not want to be included in the entry category. At least that's what the size of the rib tells you, and the fact that there are four 8-inches between the base and the slats! millimeter pipe transports the heat. Several manufacturers have already tried placing the fan between the slats, with less than more success. We are wondering how this solution will work for Coolink. For sure, our tests also show that if two separate "towers" are formed from the lamellas, a better efficiency can be achieved than with traditional solutions, where a larger lamella connecting all the pipes is used.

The new cooler shouldn't be ashamed of compatibility either. Can be installed on Intel LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775 and AMD AM2, AM2 +, AM3 socket processors. The rib measures 155 x 140 x 121 millimeters and weighs 1040 grams with a fan. There is material in it, there can be no doubt about that.

What we haven't talked about yet is the sole of the rib. First, perhaps at Xigmatek, we came across the solution that the tubes are in direct contact with the processor cap, in other words, these tubes form the lower half of the base of the rib. It can be seen that this speeds up the transfer of heat from the core, so cooling can also be better. This technology has been given a different name from manufacturer to manufacturer, in the case of Coolink we have to look for the name Gapless Coolink Exclusive Direct Touch (GDT).

The price of the refrigerator to the west of us is expected to be 50 euros and 60 dollars, respectively.
