What can a 12 million computer know?

In essence, only 8Pack knows the answer to this, no other terrestrial mortal can.

What can a 12 million computer know?

Orion X² is the most powerful computer system in the world. Point. It is a system because it consists of two configurations: a workstation and a secondary machine. Let's look at the thicker combination first:

  • Intel I9-7890XE 18 cores, 36 threads (water-cooled, minimum clock speed 4,60 GHz);
  • Two water-cooled NVIDIA RTX Titan with 24 GB GDDR6 VRAM with NV-Link connection (a third can be requested on request);
  • 128 GB 8PACK Edition 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM;
  • 2 TB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD primary storage;
  • 2 TB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD secondary storage;
  • 14TB Iron Wolf Pro NAS 7200RPM 256MB Cache HDD;
  • 2000W 80Plus Platinum 8Pack Edition Super Flower Leadex PSU;
  • Windows 10 Professional.

So this is the main engine, which, thanks to modern technology, is no longer nuclear-powered. Seriously, let's look at what the secondary machine knows:

  • Intel I7-9700K with water cooling, 5,10 GHz base current (I9-9900K available);
  • NVIDIA TITAN RTX 24 GB GDDR6 with water cooling, overdrive (also available with RTX 2080 Ti);
  • 16 GB 8Pack Edition 4000 MHz DDR4 RAM;
  • 2 × 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSDs in RAID 0 configuration;
  • 14TB Iron Wolf Pro NAS 7200RPM 256MB Cache HDD;
  • Windows 10 Professional.

The size of the memory is almost disappointing, at least after the previous monster. It's also worth noting that this is already a mini-ITX-sized configuration, let's say it's not bad anymore. We’re not revealing a big secret to the fact that the Orion X² with a purchase price of £ 32 isn’t exactly a cost-effective machine, so it’s worth watching the video below because you certainly haven’t gotten any closer to the stuff.

And for eternal growers, we can say no. Until then, it’s okay to be able to buy these irons much cheaper, but the more than 2 individual parts will be much harder to replace. It only took 000 hours to spin the 200-meter cable by hand, and the total working time was over 40 hours, so there’s quite some performance behind the structure.

Of course, the Orion X² still is UK Overclockers can be found in its offer!
