Millions of TV recalls at Sony

So far, only such failures have occurred in Japan, according to information provided by the company, but recalls have been extended to the entire world following the course of the internal investigation.

The manufacturer writes in the official statement: "We have been reminded from Japan that a number of our products may contain parts that are affected by a quality problem and that may overheat and ignite the inside of the TV in a negligible number of cases and lead to melting of the top cover of the TV.

So far, no indication of damage or physical injury to other property has been indicated.

Nevertheless, as part of our commitment to customer service and satisfaction, and as a kind of precaution, Sony is voluntarily initiating a program aimed at free inspection and, if necessary, free repair to reassure you that these products meet the requirements. the expectations of high-quality and safe products in our direction. ”
