Two new ASUS sound cards, Xonar DGX 5.1 and Xonar DSX 7.1 PCI Express, released

The new ASUS Xonar DGX 5.1 and Xonar DSX 7.1 sound cards are PCI Express versions of the highly successful Xonar DG 5.1 and Xonar DS 7.1 cards. The latter model emits sounds with a signal-to-noise ratio of 107 dB.

ASUS Xonar DGX 5.1 and Xonar DSX 7.1 sound cards offer 5.1- and 7.1-channel precision surround sound, respectively, with a PCI Express interface for easier connection. The Xonar DGX 5.1 includes a headphone amplifier, Dolby® Headphone and exclusive ASUS GX 2.5 sound processing that raises the quality of gaming sounds far beyond motherboard-mounted sound systems. The Xonar DSX 7.1 A comes with DTS® Connect, DTS® Neo X ™ and DTS® Interactive technology. DTS® Connect makes setting up home theater PCs easier and more efficient, and interchangeable operational amplifiers make the acoustic experience even more customizable. When playing Blu-ray, the full potential of the media can be exploited with the high-definition 192 kilohertz / 24-bit audio system.
