The new models in the portfolio are able to run the best-known content creation, engineering, scientific and other professional software applications seamlessly. With the latest high-performance workstation-level processors, graphics controller, storage, display and more, the models offer unmatched performance, speed and reliability for creative professionals in engineering and science. Workstations also provide unique support for the rapid development and implementation of innovative ideas.

Ghost Town Media, for example, creates the most complex yet unique visual world in the industry, from music videos to the visual effects of feature films, using Dell technology and services. “When we were recently working on a complex computer graphics project, we needed exceptional computing power and speed, so we chose the latest Dell Precision tower and mobile workstations with NVIDIA Quadro Professional Graphics Controller,” said Brandon Pavini, Creative Director, Ghost Town Media.

Dell was the first to introduce the 4800-inch Quad HD + IGZO panel to the workstation market with performance, personal experience and ease of use of the Dell Precision M6800 and M15,6 mobile workstations in mind. As a result, the model’s screen offers a higher resolution than the Apple MacBook Pro’s Retina display and uniquely offers an optional 10-finger Wacom multi-touch feature on the 17,3-inch display. This helps intuitive control and communication with creative and design applications. Dell is also the first to offer WiGig wireless docking and unique sound performance through WAVES MaxxAudio Pro integration.

For complex 3D tasks such as rendering and simulations, the new Dell Precision mobile workstations offer the highest performance. With up to 16GB of 1866MHz memory, a choice of fourth-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors (up to the Core i7 Extreme Edition), and AMD FirePro and NVIDIA Quadro professional-grade graphics controllers (up to 5100GB of graphics memory for the NVIDIA Quadro K8M) For model M6800).

All-day battery life with a secondary battery, new AMD Enduro and NVIDIA Optimus technology, and industry-leading end-to-end security solutions - comprehensive encryption, advanced authentication and state-of-the-art pest protection - deliver outstanding reliability.
