The new Cooler Master G-Series has arrived in the feed market
Cooler Master has introduced its new G-Series ATX power supplies. The rejuvenated series also includes 500- (G500), 600- (G600) 700-watt (G700) units.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, all of the feeds come with active PFC and 80Plus bronze rating. The manufacturer recommends power supplies for machines that require particularly high performance, such as the Haswell platform. The units have a 12-volt rail, but they are also designed to handle extreme high current consumption. For example, the G700 has a maximum output current of 55 amps / 660 watts.
A 120 mm fan in each power supply is responsible for cooling, which is good not only because of the right amount of air, but also because it can solve the cooling of components at virtually no noise at 70 percent load.
