The Redmi Note 7 was a great success with us, abroad, to the east of us, the Note 7 Pro also went a long way. Back then, unfortunately, Europe didn’t get the stronger Pro version, but they seem to have realized at Xiaomi (more precisely at Redmin) that it was a mistake.
Now, interestingly, not the smaller, international version of Note 8 was the first to appear on virtual shelves, but the larger sister, Note 8 Pro. It's not cheap, but there's some excuse for that, if nothing else is that the phone debuts the previous, highly successful 48-megapixel Sony sensor instead of the newer 64-megapixel version. At the same time, we can say goodbye not only to the 48 megapixels, but also to the three back-camera solutions, as there are already four cameras waiting to take photos with them.
In addition to the 64-megapixel main camera, we also get an 8-megapixel wide-angle and a 2-megapixel sensor solution for extra close-ups. The fourth optic is the usual depth sensor. The bottom line, then, is that the resolution of the main camera has increased significantly, and in addition to wide-angle indoor photography, photography taken from a super-close distance of up to 2 centimeters has now been hardware-supported.
The CPU was pretty divided about the public because Xiaomi put the Snapdragon proco aside and implemented a MediaTek Helio G90T into the mobile. They claim it will compete with the strong mid-range Snapdragons in all its capabilities. In the presentations, they are compared to a Snapdragon 710, respectively, but it is no longer a great art to leave it out. We don’t form an opinion yet, and everything will be revealed live. The results of synthetic tests also matter, of course, but the real test is peeling during everyday use, such as camera speed, and the like. Let’s just say they’re probably not talking into the air at Xiaomi, so we hope the Helio core does what it needs to do. Another important thing about the central unit is that the phone has also received the liquid cooling learned from previous gamer phones. Let's say the Helio G90T is also advertised as a gamer chip, so in addition to photographing, the phone is also responsible for serving the gamer community, we'll see…
