Dallist3 Ballistix Tracers have arrived

Now, motherboards with the latest memory controllers can float in the light socket under the processor socket.

Lexar Media has finally announced the first DDR3 members of the Crucial Ballistix Tracer family. This is the most special series of the brand known for its quality tuning memory, as their modules are equipped with tiny LEDs with activity indicators in addition to their excellent overflowability and elegant black heatsink, which can quite boost the otherwise grim appearance of our computer.

The newcomers comply with the PC3-10600 standard - that is, 1333 MHz - and have CL6 (6-6-6-20) timings - but we need 1,8 V for all of this (Tracers never use they were famous for their low tension). Light and color memories are available in 1 and 2 GB versions ($ 55 and $ 100), but of course they can also be purchased in two-channel KITs (2 GB: $ 110 and 4 GB: $ 200, respectively).
