The Elephone U2 popup camera is already on the doorstep
Elephone handsets are cheap, innovative and beautiful. With U2, the company was among the first to pop up with a pop-up camera.
The specification of the phone was already known, but it was still a surprise at the last minute. Instead of the previously announced Helio P60, a newer Helio P70 was added, but the price remained unchanged.
The phone has several interesting features, but perhaps most importantly, it got a full-screen, notch-free display. The front camera pops up from the top edge so it doesn’t take a single millimeter off the screen. Speaking of cameras, it is important to mention that there are a total of five cameras on the device. The back trio is a group working with 16MP + 5MP + 2MP sensors, where the main camera has an aperture of f / 1.6 and is also equipped with Super Night mode. The front-facing pop-up camera is a 16 + 2 megapixel pair.
The device is available in two packages, the cheaper one is 4/64 GB and the more expensive 6/128 GB. The display has FHD + resolution, the front panel display ratio is over 93 percent. For a nicer sound, a dedicated NXP Smart PA audio chip is added. The battery has a capacity of 3250 mAh, of course with a quick charge function. As you can see, the Elephone engineers left nothing to chance, they really equipped their new phone with serious knowledge and a nice look.
The two devices already have a price, but for now we can only request notification of arrival here:
