Still, the Sony Ericsson Jalou exists

We previously reported on the new product known as Jalou, but later it turned out that the "spy photo" was just a stunt by a bored Photoshop juggler. However, the device was officially presented today.

Sony Ericsson — riding with good sense the tailwind provided by the press — today unveiled its latest model, the Jalou. It is true that the mobile of considerable interest is not even close to the one that was "leaked" a few days ago on the picture visible device, but this does not deduct anything from the actual value of the device.

All the more so as we can have no reason to complain about the exterior: judging jewelery-inspired designs is a matter of taste, however, it is an indisputable fact that there are not many similarly extravagant looking models on offer at Sony Ericsson lately.
Regarding the knowledge set, unfortunately, the bloody hopes expressed by the fans were not substantiated, as there seem to be a position of Jalou in the middle category by the manufacturer. Accordingly, the device was equipped with engineers with a 2-inch QVGA resolution internal display, a monochrome external display, a 3-megapixel camera, and an application developed for viewing YouTube videos, among others. Interestingly, it is planned that the version intended for the US market will also have a GPS receiver and Google Maps, but these technologies are expected to be omitted from the European version.

The model, which will be released in several colors, is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of 2009. At the same time, the manufacturer is planning to launch an exclusive version: the internal values of the special edition marked by the Dolce&Gabbana name will not differ from those produced in the series, however, several significant changes are planned for the exterior. engineers. The most significant of these are the unique color shade named "Sparkling Rose" and the use of 24-carat gold decorations, which allow the manufacturer to target a much more affluent user group than the original target group with Jalou.
