Download AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta 8

AMD has released a new beta driver for its video cards.

 

AMD-Rolls-Out-Ati-Catalyst-7-5-2

So AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta 8 is now available and includes the following updates over previous 12.11 beta releases:

 

  • ~ 5% performance improvement over Max Payne 3
  • Improved GPU performance under Far Cry 3
  • Improved CrossFire load balancing under Planetside 2 (Crossfire load balancing still only ~ 30% at 2560 x 1600 resolution)
  • Fixes Skyrim lighting problem under AMD Radeon HD 7900 series
  • AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta 8 for Linux - significant performance improvement over Left for Dead 2
