The PS3 will be slower

It really looks like a few months before the premiere, Sony is still uncertain about the PS3 specifications.

The previous 550/700 MHz values have been reduced by 50 MHz, meaning that the operating frequencies of the NVIDIA RSX will be changed to 500/650. Although nothing is known about the reasons for the change, it is likely that they opted for a 10 percent lower GPU clock due to overheating problems.

The PS3 will be slower

The question is how much the otherwise late, very expensive and software developers find it difficult to program - further "silly" - PS3 in Europe and the United States. In any case, it doesn’t take a lot of fortune-telling to anticipate the console’s Asian (especially Japanese) success.
