Laptop for the price of a car!

Laptop for the price of a car!

Portable power is simply a modest term for the MSI MT83VR Titan.

Laptop for the price of a car!

The stuff hasn’t officially been released yet, but an overzealous Greek web store has already pulled the veil off this beast. One of the exciting points is at the central unit; this laptop may be the first to use the six-core Intel Core i7-8850H CPU. The manufacturer has set a 2,6 GHz base clock signal and a 4,0 GHz turbo, but even 4,3 GHz (!) Is available for a single-fiber load. It’s an insanely powerful processor, but we can even enhance it.

In the above chip, the integrated UHD 630 could only have a second violin. Hold on tight, the MT83VR Titan SLI spins the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, so you don’t have to worry about the frame rate even if that game doesn’t have a good relationship with dual-card systems. Maybe VR is no coincidence in the product name either…

There will be some storage for games, although this is a weakness of the lineup: in addition to two 512GB NVMe SSDs (RAID 0), there is also a 1TB HDD (7200 rpm). It’s a little surprising that MSI has done so much on the hard drive, so there will be no complaint about the primary storage. The size of the memory is also quite correct, some of the 64 GB can even be used as a RAM Drive.

The huge housing easily fits the SteelSeries RGB mechanical keyboard (with Cherry MX switches), the display also had plenty of space; the 1920 × 1080 pixel display has a diameter of 18,4 inches.

There is still some shocking data left. Yes, well think about it, that will be the price. The MSI MT83VR Titan ran on the portal in question for a modest 6199 euros - almost 2 million forints - which is very difficult to comment on / digest.
