Akasa has launched a chipset cooling kit

In addition to the rib that fits the north and south bridges, we also get a smaller VGA cooling.

With AKASA’s latest package, it focused mostly on users with older configurations who, for some reason, had broken down and obsolete factory cooling of highly valued parts. In the past, small ribs and fan-mounted versions of chipsets and lower-performance graphics cards were used, most of which operated at insane speeds. Their deaths were easy to predict based on their voices, but the subsequent cold hunt was nowhere near as easy.

Well, to commemorate these good old days, the manufacturer has released a set that includes snap-on vent cooling for low-end DX7-8 VGAs in addition to the metal slats that can be glued to the north and south inserts. The latter's air agitator rotates at a maximum of 5000 rpm, which produces 23 dB of noise, according to the manufacturer. It is powered by 3-pin connectors, however, a 4-pin converter is also included in the box.

The recommended end-user price of the AK-VCX-01 peaks at HUF 2000.
