Small storage chip from HP

The new chip was developed by a research team called HP Memory Spot, which has a 2-4 millimeter rectangular shape and its current version can store up to 512 kbytes of data.

The new storage chip is smaller than a grain of rice and does not require a battery. The Wi-Fi standard helps you upload and download data. The data transfer rate is 10 Mbps. HP says the amount of memory on the chip is expected to increase in the future. Despite its small size, the chip also includes memory, antenna, modem and microprocessor.

Due to its small size and easy production, it can be placed on documents when printed, or even on any other surface.
All components of the new insert can be manufactured independently, so production costs can be kept low.

The tile is expected to go commercially in two years.
