We tried: Toshiba Z830, a real gift

Based on what has been described so far, you may think that everything is fine with the Toshiba Z830 and we will not be able to report anything wrong. However, the world is not perfect, just as the Z830 is not.

Let's start with the keyboard! The buttons are quiet and short, a little too short. True, the size of the machine does not allow other mechanics to be used, but so you have to get used to typing, as you have to take much less momentum with your fingers to puff the letters.

The second bit of a disturbing momentum also comes from the thinness. In windy weather outdoors, it is not very comfortable to use the machine because the wind pushes the display strongly. This is because moving the hinge holding it does not require much force. You can’t even claim it, because when you open it, the slightly flexible cover would tension every time, which probably wouldn’t be good for the display.

There is a third point, and that is noise. We mentioned how quietly the machine does its job, and that’s true. Until we load it. Then, however, the fan switches to a higher speed, which is accompanied by considerable wind noise due to its small size. Well, the sound is far from unbearable, it's simply a lot compared to the silent operation before.

These were bad experiences, which were not so bad. The keyboard is familiar, there is no wind blowing in the negotiations, and we don’t do a stress test with the AIDA64 either so the fan can make a sound.

In everyday use, the machine is simply wonderful. Luckily, I was able to use it for a full week, and in the meantime, although I was trying to pay attention to the bad things, I was only able to record the above three moments.

Sleek exterior, fast and quiet and even silent operation, balanced performance and a weight of just over a pound. The Toshiba Z830 is a Ultrabook for a while, bloody, with a place in the bag of every businesswoman and businessman, only these ladies and gentlemen may not know it yet. Although it seems like a trifle, this machine runs the usual Windows programs, so while it may seem a bit old-fashioned in my opinion, it’s still a more useful help in a meeting than a good tablet. True, the display is not touch sensitive, but the touchpad is capable of multi-finger sensing, so enlarging and rotating images, documents, web pages, for example, is just as fast and convenient as using a tablet.

Overall, I can say that the initial joy described in the introduction was not obscured by anything. The machine was well tested at work and on the couch at home, it was a pleasure to use and it was not a great pleasure to give back. I can describe this even though we haven’t come across any world-renowned novelties, and perhaps that’s exactly what shows that enthusiasm isn’t for my passion for technology, but simply for a well-used tool.

The only small bibi is that the price of the machine has been added to the business sector, so by browsing the domestic offer we can get it for a little over 300 thousand forints. That’s not a bit of money, so while the Toshiba Z830 is truly first class, few can afford to buy it. However, for those who have the money for it, I dare to recommend it with a calm heart, they will not be disappointed in it!

The machine is a http://laptopesztergom.hu/ added to the test, thanks for giving it a try!
