Summary, opinion

All in all, the GeForce GTX 560 didn’t become a bad card. If you look at the table, you can see with the GIGABYTE GTX 560 that it is strong even on average clocks. It beats the HD 6850 everywhere in synthetic tests, and its lag compared to the HD 6870 isn’t significant either. He further strengthens in games, out of the seven common titles (Crysis 2 was not measured on the Radeons due to a version difference), he comes out victorious against the smaller Barts every week, with three wins, one draw and three defeats against BartsXT. its balance, but it usually wins by a bigger difference than it knocks out, so it can also fight the HD 830 at 1660/4000/6870 MHz clocks, and not without success. Raging at 950/1850/4200 MHz, the ASUS ENGTX560 TOP is no mercy known.

Of course, the HD 6850 had no chance against it, and the HD 6870 also bleed everywhere except Heaven and AvP. So if you just look at the performance, the GTX 560 successfully takes on the fight with the Barts family (of course, before buying, it’s also worth paying attention to the clocks on that particular card). Consumption, on the other hand, is, as we have seen above. The GTX 560 eats more than the Barts duo, not a little, for whom this is an important criterion, it’s worth thinking about. As usual, we left the main consideration, the purchase price, for the last time. The GIGABYTE GTX 560 is available for around HUF 46 gross, but we do not get the cheapest model for less than HUF 000. The ASUS ENGTX43 TOP tastes 000 HUF in more reliable places. In contrast, an Radeon HD 560 of the same quality can be taken home for around HUF 51, and the Radeon HD 000 needs to be in the HUF 6850 range.

Two things are clearly visible from the pricing: one is that AMD is pursuing an aggressive pricing competition, and the other is that the GTX 560 goes against the HD 6870 "in total", which is completely logical. With that said, the HD 6870 is still cheaper on average by a few thousand forints, so the matter is not at all clear. From the point of view of purchase, the GTX 560 TOP cannot be compared to a standard HD 6870, especially since it is almost HUF 10 more expensive. The GTX 000 has the same clock speed as the GIGABYTE card and is in the same race as the HD 560, so we could even recommend it based on this, but the Radeon HD 6870 is still cheaper, if not by much, and under load it also has 6870- It consumes 40 watts less than it, clearly we cannot recommend the GTX 50 over the HD 560.

If the price of the GTX 560 drops further in the near future (which is not answered by AMD), the situation may change significantly, but for the time being we can only recommend the NVIDIA child to those who are not eligible for Radeon models and it is around 45 HUF are looking for a GeForce video card. If you still have HUF 000 in reserve, it may be worth thinking about the GeForce GTX 10 Ti, for the extra amount we can get a faster card with slightly higher parameters in terms of consumption.
