Sony's radio receiver delivers outstanding sound
The so-called HD radio technology is not new at all, yet Sony is only now joining the camp of companies that make such devices.
In a way that is understandable and concise to anyone, we can define the essence of the so-called Hybrid Digital technology as follows: it improves the quality of analog (AM / FM) and digital (DAB) radio broadcasts, so we can listen to our favorite radio broadcast in virtually AudioCD quality.
Sony is entering the HD radio market with two types of devices to get started:

According to iBiquity Digital Corporation, the father of HD radio, about 1300 stations currently operate with HD radio technology, and another 2500 such stations will begin broadcasting in the near future.
