Altec Lansing's range is expanded with two new speakers

The VS2720 (2.0) and VS2721 (2.1) models offer quality sound at an affordable price.

The world of PC speakers has always been a slowly evolving part of the market, but nowadays the emergence of new products has slowed down even more. The big bang was due to the proliferation of 5.1 systems many years ago, but the market has changed since then. People buy notebooks, big screen televisions. Their surround speaker systems are more tied to plasmas, making the situation for manufacturers more difficult. Every laptop comes with tiny noise generators, but they have little use other than publishing MSN sounds. Although reputable manufacturers, such as Altec Lansing, are trying to produce better built-in solutions, space is often less than expected due to space constraints. Those who are not satisfied with these are looking for a speaker, mostly for stereo or 2.1 systems, on the one hand because of the aforementioned home theaters, and on the other hand because of the sound cards installed in notebooks.

The VS2720 is a simple stereo solution with two-way speakers. Unfortunately, information about its performance has not been released yet.

Both products, of course, have jack plugs, so we can connect them to a PC, notebook and MP3 player. The VS2720, which arrives in March, costs € 39,99, while the VS2721 costs € 59,99.
