IDC also looked around the market for wearable smart devices and found that Apple and Xiaomi had pulled away from the field. Interestingly, Xiaomi is conquering India not only with its smartphones but also with its wearable smart devices, currently leading the way in the huge Indian market with their 46 per cent market share. The global second place is also due to this result. In terms of overall sales, Fitbit came in third, but they shrank the podium with more and more shrinkage. The real surprise is fourth place in Huawei. True, with their 6,5 percent share, they lagged badly behind the former, but in terms of growth, they far surpassed everyone with a 118 percent increase in sales. Of the more notable manufacturers in the market are Garmin, they are the fifth. They have not been repaired, nor have they been damaged, they are heavily concreted into this fifth place.
