The Zotac GeForce GTX 560 SE is available for pre-order
The new entry-level solution is already the sixth member of the GTX 560 product family. The company claims that the GeForce GTX 560 SE can handle DirectX 1080 games in 11p resolution, and it's even cheap.
As expected, the card features 288 CUDA cores ticking at 1492 MHz. The GPU follows an operating frequency of 746 MHz and is connected via a 192-bit bus to 1 GB of GDDR5 memory operating at an effective clock speed of 3828 MHz. It is worth noting that the memory bus only accesses 768 MByte of VRAM directly, so the total bandwidth is limited to this partition. The remaining area can only be filled on a 64-bit channel.
The ZOTAC cooler offers a really interesting look as it extends beyond the PCB. The two 6-pin power connectors are located in the center of the card. Dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors have been added to the controller.
The Zotac GeForce GTX 560 SE appeared in the first online stores with a price tag of 128 euros, but the card is still available for pre-order.
