Duplex LCD from Samsung

Samsung has been the first in the world to present its two-sided LCD for mobile devices, which can display two completely different images at the same time.

Until now, double-sided displays could only display the inverted image, as opposed to Samsung's latest development. Thus, it becomes unnecessary to install two displays in mobile phones at the same time, thus significantly reducing their thickness.

Serial production of the 2,6mm thin QVGA resolution double-sided Samsung LCDs will begin in the first half of 2007, with the official unveiling at CES.
